I offer my clients a luxury portrait experience. Relaxed and catered to your needs. Never rushed.
Over the years I have developed a specific approach to each type of shoot, that relates to the needs of my clients, the specific ages of children and the style of my work. For example, a studio environment benefits maternity, newborns and young babies. This is because a private, controlled environment with everything we might need on hand (lighting, props, backdrops, changing facilities), works well.
Once children are walking, I want them to be in an environment that allows them to ‘switch off’ from the camera and be themselves, creating the right setting for truly bespoke and personal pictures. Therefore, for older children, no studios allowed!! Instead we will select a location that will work with the look you want to achieve in your images or capture memories of a place that is special to you – your home, a favourite play area, a walk in the forest. (The only exception to this is when brothers and sisters join a newborn session in the studio for some family pictures)
All clients have a pre-consult with me either over the phone or in person so that you can ensure I am the right photographer for you and I can ensure I know what you want from the images. I also ensure all clients receive a full product price list before booking.
Prior to the session you will receive a guide that helps you understand how the session works, what to bring, what to wear etc.
I care deeply about the final artwork provided and will only put my name to the highest standards of images and end products. Please be sure to check out my product guide to see for yourself how exquisite the products are. (And yes, of course, digital files are also available to purchase for those of you who wish to make your own products or duplicate images)
How much do I need to invest?
Luxury portraiture is an investment and one that my clients enjoy for many, many years to come. As a guide, clients typically spend CHF700 – CHF3000 on products following their session. It varies widely depending on different factors and there is absolutely NO hard sell.
My home studio in Stäfa consists of two rooms – a viewing and waiting room and a shooting studio. I am based right by Stäfa train station and also offer parking. The studio offers a wide variety of backdrops/sets and props.
If I travel to you for a location shoot then the session fee includes my travel time and costs within Zürich. Location sessions usually take place at your home or at a local park, or often a combination of the two. You are also welcome to choose a special location for a family day out where I will join you for part of the day.
Portrait shoots vary in length due to the different nature of the shoots. Please see the guidance with the session fees.
What happens after the shoot?
Beautiful images require professional editing, which takes time. Each image is individually colour corrected and tweaked to make sure it really stands out. For most shoots I will provide a range of colour and black and white images.
Your images are usually ready to view two to three weeks after the shoot (although faster turnaround times can be requested where required). All viewing and ordering sessions take place at my studio in Stäfa, Zurich. (Alternative arrangements can be made if you are only visiting Zürich for your session and live further away)
What can I buy?
I sell a wide selection of wall art, albums and digital images. All my products are of the highest quality – I spent a long time selecting them and my clients love them! As the frames are bespoke almost any combination of images and frame size is possible.
Please contact me (contact form on the main menu above) to request a full product guide with price list.
As I said, there is no hard sell – I let the images and products sell themselves!
