I approach wedding photography with three key purposes:
1. Your wedding day goes SUPER FAST so my images help you relive the story of your day and savour the special moments. (It’s amazing how many things people have already forgotten about by the time they get back from honeymoon or things they didn’t get to see on their day like reactions to speeches and kids playing in the corner.) I aim to capture as many of those moments as possible, knowing they will become your wedding memories. I work hard, really hard to make sure we capture as much as any one human can!
2. I want to capture you at your very best, using the light and some gentle direction to make you look fabulous. My experience and extensive training enable us to do this in a natural and fun way.
3. For me, a wedding album is a family heirloom so I bring to life the story of your wedding in a carefully designed, hand-made album. (Although digital only packages are also available)
Many photographers use terms to describe their work like reportage, documentary, traditional etc. I find it rather confusing myself! Instead, when I meet couples I take them through a range of images and explain how I shoot. When I am tucked away out of the way, how I get the best out of group shots, how I work with the natural light and how I get special effects in the evening coverage. Each part of the day requires different skills and experience.
I get to know all my clients very well so by the time your day comes around it’s like having a friend in the room with you. I measure my success by my ongoing relationship with my clients – your whole experience is so important to me. I also learn all about your day and what’s important to you so that I ensure my photography reflects those things. For some people it’s all about the styling – vintage, monotone etc, for others it’s the more spiritual element, for others it’s all about family… I usualy know about the wee surprises you have planned for eachother and the things you spent weeks making… all those little details are just as important to me.
Pre-wedding shoots are complimentary with most packages and help even the most camera shy get used to the camera ahead of the big day.
My packages start at £1400 and all include :
