Just a day… Zurich and London baby photographer
Imagine looking back on one day 30 years ago… seeing where you lived, what you wore, what you spent your time doing…
For me, photography is storytelling. I want to be able to look back on our family pictures with our daughter and for her to see what our life was like, and what she was like as a child. So that doesn’t mean saying cheese or doing pretty poses…
I sometimes give talks to parents about how to take better pictures of their children. I don’t focus on camera settings and equipment but instead on working with your children, making it fun and how to capture the ‘real’ them….
I recommend keeping a pocket camera in your bag and I never go anywhere without mine, it means that if something special is happening then you can grab it quickly. But I also recommending setting aside a day, whether it be a day out or a regular day at home, and recording the different events – big and small. Capturing the scene, the details, the story…
Here’s a day I did with my daughter a few weeks ago… I shared it at a recent talk I gave and promised to blog it…
